Wand-Like Speakers

Rubato by Kibbum Park Turns People into Audio Magicians

Named after the Italian musical term 'Tempo rubato,' which directly translates to 'stolen time,' Rubato by Kibbum Park, a graduating design student, is an interactive Bluetooth speaker that works like a magician's wand. Yes, people can let loose their inner Harry Potter and Hermione Granger with this fun device.

Created for the degree show at Hongik University in Seoul, South Korea, Rubato by Kibbum Park essentially affords users with a level of freedom not normally associated with remote controls for speakers. Not only does it allow them to change the volume, but also the rhythm and even the pitch of the music playing.

Of course, people will have to be slightly adept at conductor's role when using Rubato by Kibbum Park.
