Designers Haiko Cornelissen, Paul-Eric, Schirr-Bonnans and Marie Labarelle have designed this rotating fashion museum, a skyscraper that features looping exhibits and displays that are made to appear to viewers in the other in which they appear in the world, says DesignBuzz.
Located in Tokyo, the 20-story rotating fashion museum was inspired by Tokyo's vertical automated parking. The designers set out to make it a vertical shopping experience, and there are 10 floors in the middle of the tower that are dedicated to fashion exhibits, organized by decade. Housed in rotating elevators, the exhibits revolve "through the vertical spaces of the museum" so that viewers actually do not have to move at all. The top floors of the tower contain offices, a runway and a skybar, while the bottom floors were designed for parking and storage.
