Path Architecture has designed the '359.' a rotating compact home that can follow the light of the sun.
Measuring 12 by 12 feet, the structure is larger than most compact homes and features a kitchen, a composting toilet, a shower and a ladder that goes up to the sleeping loft area. It is also insulated, has solar panels and can be hooked up to a garden hose to provide water.
The most interesting feature is the 359's ability to rotate. It was built to rotate so that those who lived in it could follow the light of the sun on cool days, or stay away from the sun when the rotating compact home gets too warm. The modern design of the abode's front part is made up almost entirely of windows, allowing sunlight to be a primary feature.
