Cityscape Porcelain Designs

Rosenthal Creates the TAC Big Cities Tableware Collection

Rosenthal has created a tableware collection that turns to cityscapes and skylines for a source of inspiration. The overall design is simplistic, using the faint outline of a city to decorate plain white porcelain.

A variety of skylines were used for the designs, including London, New York, Copenhagen, Paris and Berlin. This eclectic range of cityscapes ensures that each piece is slightly different, while keeping a unifying theme throughout each piece. Of course, each skyline is made up of some of the most iconic pieces of architecture from around the world, such as Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower so that people know which popular place they are looking at.

While this collection should probably be put on display rather than used, each piece is still functional enough to take out for special occasions. Photo Credits: designboom, rosenthal.de
