Nvidia and ASUS have announced the world’s first 'ROG Swift 500Hz' G-Sync gaming monitor. The monitor includes a 24-inch 500Hz TN panel designed for 1080p esports titles. The new ‘ROG Swift 500Hz’ monitor comes just after Nvidia and ASUS announced a 360Hz gaming monitor at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show.
Nvidia’s ‘Phantom VEO 640S’ motion camera is just one of the monitor’s new integrations. The camera includes 72GB of RAM, allowing consumers to record gameplay from titles like Valorant up to 1,000fps. Smoother animations will eliminate any tearing or ghosting, and the reduced latency will enable players to see animations faster than players on a 240Hz or 144Hz monitor.
A release date for the ‘ROG Swift 500Hz’ monitor has not yet been confirmed.
