Popular vehicular soccer game Rocket League is getting its first battle-royale mode this spring with "Knockout Bash," an eight-player free-for-all that sees its players battle to be the last car standing. In typical battle-royale fashion, players will be out of the game once they "die" after getting KO’d three times.
Rocket League will also add new actions and upgrade current abilities to increase the stakes in the battle royale mode. Players will be able to grab and throw each other into hazards, the double jump height has been tripled, and attacking cars will knock them further away. If a player has been knocked out of the arena, they must return to the safe area or face elimination. Players will also be eligible for spring rewards.
Rocket League’s ‘Knockout Bash’ starts April 27th until May 10th.
