Halloween may be a little ways away yet, but for those who like to plan ahead, this might give them enough time to try to replicate the Robotic Spider Dress for all the freaky festivities. As though countering the feathery and pristine look of angel wings, the Robotic Spider Dress features mechanical legs that rest on the shoulders of the wearer.
Created by Dutch designer Anouk Wipprecht in collaboration with Austrian software developer Daniel Schatzmayr, the Robotic Spider Dress doesn't just look incredibly creepy, it moves creepily as well. In line with Wipprecht's past fashion creations including the DareDroid 2.0 and Pseudomorph, the dress has a futuristic aesthetic that is at once femininely curvaceous and rigidly structured.
