Roberto Christen, Chao Wang, and Matt Brown have come out with a series of eco-friendly inventions which support a noble cause at heart, but fall a little short when it comes to the whole ‘useful’ department.
The wind pencils featured here, for example, were placed "on a windmill for a period of time (1, 3, or 9 years)... through that time they become weathered but remain functional."
The designers go on to note that "they are priced depending on their age and help fund clean energy projects. Just as importantly, with their unmistakable appearance, they act as symbols of support for clean energy."
