Rikke Frost Designs the Ripple Light for BoConcept

Rikke Frost designs the Ripple Light for BoConcept, which is inspired by what the namesake suggests. The gentle movements of water are calm whether it is lapping on the edges of a lake or crashing onto the shore -- it brings out a soothing feeling.

The Ripple Light celebrates that notion at its calmest element when it is gently trickling into a stillness. The light arrives flat-packed and the body of the system is made from concentric hexagonal pieces which hold together with a black cording. It has a near form so that it forms a space between the various shapes complete in an eggshell hue. The pendant light is suspended and it offers more at its different angles based on its diffusion, which is dimmable.
