Medicated Confectionery Lozenges

The Ricola Soothe & Clear Range Features Natural Ingredients

The Ricola Soothe & Clear range has been unveiled by the Switzerland-based wellbeing brand that will offer consumers in the UK with a way to combat against symptoms as we enter into the cold weather months.

The new lozenges come in three flavor options including Homey Lemon Echinacea, Honey Herb and Original Swiss Herb, which are all made with 13 herb extracts to sooth sore throats. The premium candies are individually wrapped to make them great for keeping on hand at all times to quickly attain relief from the symptoms of colds.

Senior Marketing Manager for Ricola Rebecca Collison spoke on the new Ricola Soothe & Clear range saying, "The range of medicated confectionery products stocked by retailers has remained largely unchanged for the past 20 years, so it’s no surprise that shoppers are telling us that they are struggling to find throat soothing products that appeal to them. Consumers nowadays prefer a more natural approach to health and wellbeing, but the shelves aren’t reflecting this. Shoppers told us that they are ready for something new and the positive response they have given to the Ricola Soothe & Clear range so far is really encouraging."
