Unveiled at ModaLisboa Fashion Week, the Ricardo Andrez Fall/Winter 2016 collection stunned audiences with its unique and youthful aesthetic. Redefining traditional skate and surf attire, the designer dressed models in a patterned black and white wardrobe that was subtly accented with bold pops of color.
While this collection's standouts included bomber jackets, masculine kilts and sweatpants that each boasted the same monochromatic pattern, its more surprising pieces included oversized pink sweatshirts and cropped windbreakers.
Though conceptual at times, the Ricardo Andrez Fall/Winter 2016 runway presentation was also surprisingly wearable and was strategically designed to appeal to urban dwellers. When they weren't promoting comfort, the collection's pieces looked as if they could withstand the elements of a busy city.
