It is hard not to appreciate the modern minimalist design of the Ribbon Chapel. Aptly named, it looks as though it were made up of a gently-crossing ribbon as it unravels to the ground. As delicate and feminine as any wedding chapel ought to be, the Ribbon Chapel is an ideal place for any couple to tie the knot. The only way to make it even more appropriate was if it formed a knot itself.
Designed by architect Hiroshi Nakamura, the Ribbon Chapel is located at the Seto Inland Sea Resort in Japan. Spiralling softly upwards, My Modern Met notes that it is also "symbolic for an event that’s centered around the journey, bond, and the uniting of two lives and families."
