The 'Revolver' project by Italian artist Rub Kandy turned a drab cement mixer into a beautiful installation. Kandy's sculpture leverages the mixer's spinning to form a spectacular kinetic sculpture. Revolver consists of a regular truck meticulously painted with stripes of vibrant color. Kandy used a copious amount of spray paint to create perfectly straight lines on the cement mixer without any guides.
As a result of the truck's new paint job, it looks amazing when spinning. When the mixer is in use, the stripes of color spin and blur to become something even more elegant than before.
Revolver was created in Rome with the help of Le Grand Jeu, Fandango TV and RAGÙ communication. As the mixer drove around, it delighted pedestrians instead of acting as an eyesore.
