Finnish video game developer Housemarque is working with Sony to bring a new game to PlayStation 5 gamers in 2021 called 'Returnal.'
The game features a third-person perspective, which follows a stranded space pilot who's trapped in a time loop on a dangerous alien world. Using high-tech weapons and an armored suit, players will have to fight off malicious alien attackers. Every time they die within the game, players will be resurrected and will zip through different environments that are unfamiliar to them—arriving back in the time loop and continuing their journey.
The game is categorized as a science fiction psychological horror, and was developed specifically for the PlayStation 5 using the Unreal 4 Engine.
