In light of the recent success of revamped retro consoles, Arc System Works has decided to release 'Return of Double Dragon' which had previously never seen a release outside of Japan. The game was first released in 1992 but has been out of print for years. Arc System Works, which acquired the Double Dragon license in 2015, first released a digital copy of the game in 2015 but this new relaunch will give collectors the chance to get their hands on a physical copy of the Japan-only game.
The re-released Return of Double Dragon cartridge is currently up for pre-order on Amazon. Early adopters will not only receive a first print run of the game but will also receive a limited-edition red cartridge as well. The game will run on any old-school SNES system or any retro console system that can play SNES games.
