Lowe's 'LoweBot' is an Automated Retail Service Tool

The 'LoweBot' is an automated retail service robot that is currently being used across select Lowe's home improvement retail stores in California.

The LoweBot is a NAVii robot from Fellow Robots, which offers a great amount of help to both customers and employees. For instance, the bot is able to answer basic questions, help shoppers navigate the store and locate products in multiple languages. LoweBot also offers real-time inventory monitoring technology, which helps management to assess patterns in the retail environment as they happen. In terms of the look of the robot, it stands tall and boasts the ability to move freely throughout the store's aisles.

As of the fall of 2016, the LoweBot is being tested across 11 Lowe’s Stores in the San Francisco Bay area.
