Renzo Piano Building Workshop has given this gorgeous Auditorium Aquila a happy makeover. The auditorium had been burnt down during the 2009 earthquake in L’Aquila, Italy and had reopened its doors to the public last year.
Famous architect Renzo Piano has reconstructed this building entirely out of timber. It is a cubical design that looks like a giant playground for children. The exceptionally variegated surface adds to the revived ambient of the building and creates a spectacular visual.
The largest cube in the auditorium contains a 238-seat concert hall; the interior design of this concert hall is just as happy and lively. The auditorium's makeover is overall a colorful, modern and geometric one that combines both functionality and aesthetics.
