Innovative Beverage Chillers

The Refresh Drink Cooler Perfects Temperature On-the-Go

If this concept were to become a reality, you could replace your bulky ice-filled esky with something as compact and cutting-edge as the Refresh Drink Cooler. It's a fairly simple-looking appliance that promises to chill one beverage at a time with incredible speed and efficiency.

Designed as an Electrolux entry, James Skeggs's invention really looks the part. It comprises a sleek stainless steel frame and a translucent aquamarine body. It has been sculpted with a cylindrical cavity in the center so that bottles of champagne, wine, beer and pop can be easily inserted and cooled as desired.

The technology relies on advanced thermoelectrics that initiates the freezing of the semiconductor nodes throughout the Refresh Drink Cooler. Condensation builds up around the container, enhanced by a mist. The excess energy is then absorbed back into the device to replenish its battery.
