There is beauty in both nature and human-made objects, which is why The Refinery Concrete strives to combine the two in order to create furniture that hopes to bridge the gap between them. For years humankind has been trying to dominate the earth rather than work with it, The Refinery Concrete furniture shows what can come out of harmony and balance.
Founded by Patrick and Kate, The Refinery Concrete is based in New Hampshire. Through a eco-process, The Refinery Concrete strives to lessen their impact on the planet while paying tribute to it at the same time. They achieve this by using fly ash and VCAS pozzolans in the mix to replace a portion of Portland cement that acts as the surface of their tables. The Refinery Concrete also uses natural stains and eco-conscious sealers.
