The Reebok x Eames Office Partnership Just Dropped a New Design

The Reebok x Eames Office partnership just dropped another chic sneaker silhouette and this time, the upper is inspired by the "endearingly irregular patina of fiberglass chairs." Sportswear brand Reebok drew inspiration from design studio Eames Office's fiberglass chairs from the 1950s. These designs, undoubtedly innovative for their time, were debuted at the 1950 MoMA International Competition for Low-Cost Furniture Design. The nostalgic feeling of the chair design definitely carries over through the texture of the sneakers.

The Reebok x Eames Office Classic Leather Fiberglass Pack, as the collection is dubbed, features three colorways—Pink, Sea Foam Green, and Parchment. Even the colorways are associated with the chairs—the Parchment one being the first iteration. This drop is part of an ongoing partnership that celebrates the legacy of Eames Office.
