This Pennsylvania-based husband and wife duo, Ben & Kate Gatski, create side tables, candleholders and even earrings out of upcycled pieces of old farming equipment. Ben began welding farm equipment into recycled metal sculptures in his teens, and the couple has developed this hobby into a full-fledged family-run business!
A side table crafted from an old piece of equipment called a straw walker could be such a conversation starter. Tell your friends the (made-up) story about how Grandpa lost his arm in that very same piece of equipment back in the 1930s!
