Liquid Detergent Artwork

The Skip Installation is White and Pristine

Washing liquid Skip needed to tell people about their new and improved biodegradable formula and recyclable bottle, so they hired The Jupiter Drawing Room to come up with the Skip Installation.

The Drawing Room team worked with a local artist to create seagulls, fish, waterlilies and dragonflies using nothing but old Skip bottles. The pattern kept waste to a minimum, and the models were assembled with cable ties, so that no toxic glue was used.

The final installation comprised of a 4-meter tall washing machine, a pond with waterlilies and creatures surrounding this setup. The Skip Installation was set up in Cape Town’s premiere shopping center, the V&A Waterfront, and was a huge success among passersby.
