Raleigh announced the launch date for its latest city commuter e-bike, the 'Raleigh Trace.' The Trace is a modest, lightweight e-bike that boasts necessary features for consumers based in cities. The bicycle has a sleek, thin frame that weighs only 16.5 kg while fully-equipped, making it easy to carry into elevators, up stairwells, or making it easy to walk down busy streets.
The Raleigh Trace features a 625-watt motor with a 250 watt-hour battery, resulting in a range of approximately 50 miles at a pedal-assisted top speed of 20 miles per hour. This means the battery lasts just under three hours, which is enough time to commute to and from work on a single charge for most city commuters. The 2022 Raleigh Trace is aviaallbe now from Raleigh at an MSRP of approximately $2,300 USD.
