Texting has made it so easy to say what we want to say and when we want to say it. Most people, however, have probably gone through the experience of wishing they could take back a message they sent to someone -- either because of a mistake or a change of heart. The RakEM app is a godsend for such times.
Launched by Raketu, the RakEM app actually provides a secure, private messaging service (like Whatsapp or Snapchat), which can be used for texting, video calling and picture, video or location sharing. According to Raketu, the RakEM app uses a direct device-to-device technology, so that there is no server where the data is stored. This effectively means that data is safer -- it cannot be stolen or mined.
The most interesting feature of the RakEM app, however, is that when the user wants to delete some messages they sent from their phone, they will also delete the same messages on the device of the person it was sent too.
