It shouldn't be too hard to figure out what recent world event inspired the creation of the Radiation Level watch. This watch uses what I assume are radiation indicators to spice up the dull act that is telling time.
The Radiation Level watch was designed by "Yamada san" and was first featured on, wait for it, the Tokyoflash design blog (Tokyoflash is known for innovative and design-savvy timepieces). All Earth-shattering surprises aside, the Radiation Level is one of the few Tokyoflash watches that looks difficult to read but isn't. The watch separates hours and minutes into three different sections, putting minutes one through four in the top right corner, minutes from five to 55 in the top left corner and the hours on the bottom. When you want to tell time, simply press the side button and see which sections are flashing. You can check out the watch in action, along with a ton of other creative and quirky Tokyoflash designs here.
