The 60-foot ‘IMOCA’ is one of the world's fastest and most stylish racing yachts. The IMOCA is built from a composite material to ensure it's lightweight but can also withstand the harsh racing conditions that it may encounter. The aesthetics of the racing yacht are just as impressive as its performance, with an all-black design and the iconic Hugo Boss logo written along the sail.
The yacht also features a distinct honeycomb pattern by renowned industrial designer Konstanin Grcic. This is the second yacht made by the Alex Thompson racing team, but the IMOCA is custom-made for racer Alex Thompson himself. Thompson contributed to the all-black modern design as well as the increased ergonomic capabilities of the racing yacht.Photo Credits: yachtsandyachting, designboom
