Tourism Queensland has discovered an innovative way to attract quality job applicants: offer them a ridiculous amount of money to live on a gorgeous island--and blog about it. No, nobody is kidding. This 'Best Job in the World' offer, which is garnering international attention, is for the position of "Island Caretaker." The successful applicant will take care of a few odd jobs around their rent-free three bedroom beach home, take in the activities offered on Hamilton Beach, and visit spas. Not to mention occasionally speaking with the media in addition to weekly blog posts.
Applicants from all over the world are lining up to submit their videos (all applications must be accompanied by a video), and the applicant must be a strong swimmer, and have an affinity for Australia.
