SUB-AGE, a underground label that's based in Tokyo, Japan, recently released its Fall/Winter 2016 collection with a lookbook that shows the brand combining goth and punk clothing influences.
In order to do this, SUB-AGE incorporates oversized fits with vibrant colors and angst-filled graphic prints. Pieces within the collection include bright crew neck sweaters, long trench coats, leather and sheepskin jackets, hoodies and a baggy retro jumpsuit that takes its wearer straight back to the 1970s.
SUB-AGE does a play on the D.A.R.E. drug resistance program's logo as well, transforming the iconic red typography to say S.AGE, along with the words "TO KEEP KIDS IN GOTHIC" underneath. An especially vibrant sweater features a neon green fabric that's complemented by the word "JESUS" under the neck. In addition, the punk clothing influence is further shown within the editorial through the incorporation of ripped jeans and casual street shoes.
