Transport for London taps the help of creative agency VCCP to create a new and refreshed Public Transport Safety campaign that is defined by bright primary colors and a retro theme. The posters are meant to cut through the clutter at the many stations and raise awareness of the risks that may happen on one's commute. To work on the campaigns, the agency drew in the help of illustrator Andrew Hudson. He creates bold typography and these will run digitally, throughout social media, and throughout internal communication platforms.
Creative director of VCCP Simon Learman speaks about the campaign, stating "We’ve created the campaign to communicate how customers should travel safely as part of TfL’s commitment to keeping passengers safe. To do this effectively, we have made sure that the creative is positive, easy to understand and digest. It’s imperative that everyone who uses the transport network receives the information they need for their journey, whether they are new to the network or seasoned travelers."
