"Brilliantly bizarre" describes the artistic universe of Spanish artist Rosalia Banet. She makes these mock real life scenarios where Siamese twins eats brain cupcakes and eyeball pies for their birthday while strange friends sit around the table, like the crying girl, the penis man and the chocolate boy.
Besides these colorful sculpture scenes, Rosalia Banet also makes amazing photos, drawings and videos of sickening meals prepared with human body parts. I am sure people will find these short films scary, but I bet she has some sharp intentions for making these films, only I don’t speak Spanish so I don’t know. Anyhow, they are weird and slightly psychotic, just like real life can be on a bad day, I guess.
If you have a tough stomach, see her films on her blog.
