Sci-Fi Pottery Sculptures

These Star Wars Figurines Resemble Pre-Columbian Pottery

These Star Wars figurines are designed to look like Huaco, a type of pottery associated with the Incas and other pre-Columbian cultures in South America, specifically in Peru. This pottery was ceremonial in nature and was often made in the shapes of people or animals. Nano Navarrete now presents a series of this kind of pottery called 'Original Huaco' with a variety of Star Wars designs.

Some of the designs comes in both, colored and black and white version that makes the Huacos more realistic.

They’re about six inches tall and have handles on the back. The handles are typical of this kind of pottery, because Huacos are used as a vessel for holding liquid. In the case of these Star Wars figurines, they don’t really serve a purpose aside from being decorative and collector's items ahead of the release of The Force Awakens.
