Poxed is a student project done by Carlie Mai, which has an interesting concept for branding lotions and creams. Most would think of promoting flowers and roses for this type of product, but Mai chose instead to associate the brand with poison.
The label is made up of crossbones, which make up the X in the 'Poxed' title. For coloring Mai used a numeber of different hues, most of which are quite bright and feminine. Again, this is an interesting choice as it provides a juxtaposition between the name of the brand and the contents inside. Mai states on Package Inspiration that the concept was designed to appeal to a certain demographic, although it's not completely clear what that was. Pirates are the first thing that come to mind!
