This once-aspiring advertiser, graphic designer and industrial designer has created an interesting way to present their portfolio: a message in a bottle.
Artist Canhür Aktuglu has changed up the resume game by creating a company-specific message in a bottle portfolio. The bottle used was an average clear wine bottle that had a logo on the front created by Canhür Aktuglu. The logo stated "DDB&Me." Since DDB was the company that Canhür Aktuglu was applying to, it made the presentation very personal. Inside the bottle was scroll containing a cover letter and resume. The bottle's cork was embedded with a USB. The USB contained a virtual database of the artist's work.
This creative approach conveys the importance of being unique and standing out when you are applying for a creative role.
