Istituto Europeo di Design student Bodin Hon has created the perfect portable cooker that is designed for easy transportation. The sustainable machine uses solar power to cook meals and grill dishes.
This portable cooked is called Solari based on its fascinating ability to cook food using purely solar energy. Solari is the size of a traditional picnic basket and is equipped with a handle that doubles as a stand when it's placed on the ground. The spherical cooker is pure white, which gives it a clean look.
Solari works by absorbing heat through its cast aluminium pot. As the sunlight passes through Solari's clear lid, the reflective interior projects the light throughout the aluminum pot. This powerful cooker also features a power cord so it can be used indoors as well.
