Porsche Launched an Overwatch 2 Experience with Blizzard

At Gamescom 2024, Porsche and Blizzard Entertainment collaborated to create a unique experience for attendees, integrating the world of Overwatch 2 with Porsche’s brand. The exhibition stand, located in Hall 9.1, was designed to immerse visitors in the South Korean coastal city of Busan, the home of the Overwatch 2 character D.Va. The stand featured interactive elements such as a karaoke area and a gaming zone where visitors could compete against each other and participate in a "Beat the Streamer" contest with content creator Bogur. Additionally, a life-sized statue of D.Va’s Mech, Tokki, was displayed alongside a Macan show car featuring a fan-voted Overwatch design.

The collaboration also included the availability of Porsche-inspired skins for the Overwatch 2 characters D.Va and Pharah. These skins, which were first introduced in the spring of 2024, were made available again for the duration of Gamescom. The D.Va skin incorporated design elements of the electric Macan, while the Pharah skin was influenced by the Taycan. Cosplayers Alyson Tabbitha and Stellar Cosplay brought these characters to life at the event, further enhancing the immersive experience for attendees.
