Information passes through it and as it does so, the Poetic Router reads it out loud. That's right, it essentially speaks to the user.
Designed by Saurabh Datta, the Poetic Router is set to a droning automaton's voice, giving the whole experience a creepy tinge -- and that's the whole purpose. Datta wants people to acknowledge that their online information isn't as safe as they believe it is, writing, "To surface the concern and pay a tribute to the age of awareness that then existed, poetically this project was articulated."
