Electric car owners who hate cords are going to be all over the Plugless Level 2 EV Charging System. This EV charger is completely wireless and is the world’s first such charger to be made commercially available. It was developed via a partnership between the Evatran Group, the company which developed the idea, and the Bosch Automotive Solutions Group.
The Plugless Level 2 EV Charging System is more or less a downsized version of an induction gadget charger. A special pad is installed on the floor of your garage, and charging begins when you position your vehicle over it. The setup is set to retail for between $2,998 to $3,098, plus additional installation costs. The pad is currently compatible with the Chevy Volt and Nissan Leaf.
