This PlayStation 5 concept has been designed by Riccardo Breccia as a new take on the recently released gaming console that focuses on a decreased form factor and much more. The unit features a circular aesthetic that takes elements of the actual console into account, but which also calls to mind the first-generation PlayStation 1 console. This slightly retro, rounded aesthetic could also be compared to the original Discman to pay homage to the way that technology has evolved over the years.
The PlayStation 5 concept is also equipped with a range of must-have features including a power supply port along with Ethernet, USB-A for powering controllers, USB-C and a power supply. The top of the conceptual console pops off to reveal the cooling fan for easy cleaning as well as the SSD expansion slot for adding additional storage.
