KFC France Replaces Single-Use Plastics with Eco-Friendly Paper Straws

KFC France has announced its plastic straw ban accross 250 outlets in the country, signifying the fast food establishent's dedication to the movement for sustainability. The eco-conscious initiative is supported by an advertising campaign called ‘#PaillePailleLesPailles.’

The movement features a series of elegantly minimalist print ads that playfully incorporate the symbol of the fast food-style plastic straw. The campaign has been designed by creative agency Hémisphère Droit.

KFC France's plastic straw ban will surely go a long way to giving consumers a piece of mind. The utensils will be replaced by eco paper straws that will be given on-demand at the restaurant's counter. The project will be gradually adopted by all of KFC's 250 outlets during the first quarter of 2019.
