The sauces come in convenient pouches and are formulated with high levels of protein as well as containing no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. The sauces come in two flavor options including Fragrant Basil and Carrots and Fiery Chilli Pepper and Beans, which are both positioned for nationwide launch in UK at a suggested price point of £1.64 each.
Marketing Manager at Dolmio Rob Hollis spoke on the Dolmio Plant-Based Bolognese sauces saying, "We’re incredibly excited to be launching Dolmio Plant Based Bolognese to add to our range. Spaghetti Bolognese is one of the UK’s favorite meals, especially for a convenient, healthy mid-week meal. Traditionally cooked with meat, it is equally delicious when made with a meat alternative, or with just veg and our current range of sauces are perfect for making a Bolognese whichever way you prefer it. With our increasingly busy lives and the increased focus on plant-based eating, we believe that now is the perfect time to make it just that little bit easier to enjoy a plant-based Bolognese meal with our new range of Dolmio products."
