When you look at the packaging of the Pinch of Soil brand, you may not guess what's inside -- the name aside, of course. Made to hold a single bulb or four for gardening, the designs are unexpectedly contemporary. Although it's hard to pinpoint what might be held in the Pinch of Soil packaging, the earthy tons do suggest something related to nature.
Designed by Yara Marie Sayad, a student studying at Pratt Institute, the Pinch of Soil packaging was made to be extremely efficient and multi-functional. Packaging of the World writes, "The wooden part of the package becomes a spork, which can be used to dig and pour the grains. It then becomes the label for the flower planted in the pot. Therefore, the package becomes the gardening tools for the flowers."
