Lyft Will Expand Its PIN Feature for Airport Use

Lyft has expanded the use of its PIN feature which streamlines airport pickups. The PIN feature provides riders and drivers with a custom PIN code and pickup location, this makes it easier for riders to know which car they are supposed to be in.

Lyft's PIN feature was implemented at LaGuardia Airport in New York, Lyft has indicated it intends to bring the feature to other airports. Lyft has not stated which other locations it will bring the feature to.

Users in the app will be able to request a pickup destination, from there they can tap the "Get Code" button which will match them to their driver. Lyft has stated that the new feature will only be available for standard Lyft rides.
