A controversial new website dubbed "Pimp This Bum!" has been a boon to homeless man Tim Edwards.
When marketer Kevin Dolan approached Edwards about the idea, Edwards said he "roared with laughter" when he suggested his idea for the website and what Dolan would call it.
On the website, those visiting can make donations of goods, money or services in order to help Edwards out of his circumstances and get help. Some that know the exact location he hangs out to panhandle stop by to give him food and say hello to him.
As a result of the marketing effort and cooperation of Edwards, he has been provided with a 35-day alcohol detox program by Sunray Treatment and Recovery in Seattle, which would normally cost $13,800.
