Self-Heating Showers

The Piezo Shower Uses "Piezoelectricity" to Create Heat

The Piezo Shower is so ahead of its time, it's making my head hurt. This epically innovative shower heats up without using any power at all.

The Piezo Shower was designed by Sebastian Jansson, Fernanda Pizà, Victor Stelmasuk and Natalie Weinmann. The Piezo Shower works by "introducing friction and vibration to tiny fibers embedded within these thin pipes, creating piezoelectricity that warms the water." The electricity also powers a nifty little touchscreen that shows the water's temperature, and how much of it you have used.

The Piezo Shower sounds too good to be true. Hopefully this concept will take off sooner rather than later. Our bills depend on it.
