Designed for use by the whole family, this photo and video storage solution addresses the problem of having massive amounts of unorganized pictures on numerous devices. From Boston-based startup Lineage Labs, Bevy is a product that provides families with local and private storage along with online backup.
Funded in large part by consumer technology incubator Blade, the company is backed by $4 million. Unlike cloud storage services like Dropbox, iCloud and Google Drive, Bevy photo and video storage is designed to store content locally on a connected hard drive at home. This serves as a central place where all the photos and videos taken by family members can be saved. It's also meant to be coordinated with the family entertainment center so it can be plugged into the television.
