The Neogen Petrifilm Automated Feeder Streamlines Operations

The Neogen Petrifilm Automated Feeder has been launched by the US-based brand as a new solution for the food safety industry that will help to automate and streamline operations in high-volume labs.

The system is engineered to be integrated with existing Petrifim Plate Reader Advanced equipment that will help to streamline the process for microbial testing in lab settings. The system is rated to handle up to 300 Petrifilm Plates in 33-minutes thanks to its automated plate feeding and enumeration, which will help with greater consistency, lab productivity and more.

President and CEO John Adent spoke on the Neogen Petrifilm Automated Feeder saying, "This introduction is the latest step in the history of Petrifilm innovation to help make labs more efficient and productive. By reducing the time burden on technician staff, Neogen is helping labs evolve and efficiently meet growing demands and to deliver safe, high-quality food, while meeting testing requirements for food and ingredients. Neogen is excited to be at the forefront of investments in innovation, microbiology, and food safety to evolve the modern lab."
