The Kellogg's personalized cereal boxes have been announced by the brand as a new initiative to help celebrate back-to-school season for kids and help get them in the spirit to head back. The service works by having consumers purchase three promotional packs of cereal before heading online to enter codes along with personalized messaging, a photo and more. The personalized box covers will then arrive to help surprise and delight children, while also helping them to get excited as they head back into the classroom.
Senior Brand Manager at Kellogg's UK Kate Stokes spoke on the Kellogg's personalized cereal boxes saying, "As the third biggest retail period in the year, we identified the opportunity for Kellogg’s to make a moment of the return to school by introducing an element of personalization. Last year in the ‘Back to School’ time we saw an increase in sales across our cereal portfolio and this year we are hoping that will be bolstered by our new on-pack promotion. This is the first time we have introduced personalised sleeves in the UK and we are excited to see consumers engage on a personal level, with our much loved brands.’’
