As part of Art Basel Miami Beach Week, Louis Vuitton has helped realize a piece work that French architect Charlotte Perriand designed, 'La Maison Au Bord De L’eau,’ meaning the house on the edge of the water.
Designed over 80 years ago, in 1934, Perriand created the house as a "system for contemplating nature." Emphasizing "a free relationship to the body, and a relationship between what’s outside and what’s inside." This house is extremely current and innovative as it ties into what is still relevant in today's architecture: sustainability and design aesthetics.
Perriand manages to combine architecture with the convenience as it capitalizes on the extreme ease in constructing and assembling the house. The pavilion seen in the photographs was designed by Louis Vuitton, following the brand's Spring/Summer 2014 fashion collection.
