The Pavilion MMM in Miami is set to be produced by the architecture firm 'Design with Company,' who has a vision of making the most of yard sales for building this temporary structure.
Instead of coming up with all new raw products, the team at Design with Company will be using objects from yard sales. "The seats will be converted into swings, and hung from a modular structure made of construction scaffolding members. The strategy makes assembly straightforward, economical, and appropriate based on the installation’s temporary existence," states DesignBoom. Considering the amount of waste that's produced by people on a daily basis, this type of construction method makes perfect sense, and is an eco-friendly alternative to construction.
