OX Motorcycles, the Spain-based micro-mobility startup, announced the Patagonia e-bike, a multipurpose two-wheel bike with a unique style. The bike itself has a bulky center covered by a large black panel. Below this panel is an aluminum metal pane for ventilation and stability. The top of the bike has an elongated seat design that flows into the top of the frame to create a rectangular looking e-bike that is more reminiscent of motorcycles than of traditional bikes.
The Patagonia features wide gripped wheels and versatile suspension that allows it to not only traverse city streets, but also off-road environments. The Patagonia has a top speed of 78 miles per hour, achieved from an 11-kw motor and a 72-volt battery pack. The device has an impressive range that allows it to drive for nearly an entire day before needing to charge.
Customers can reserve a Patagonia now for $260 USD, which will go toward to full release price of $7,200.
